We offer assessment and treatment of eating disorders. This program includes outpatient treatment and medical monitoring.
What does this program offer?
- Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for anorexia nervosa and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
- Enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT e)
- Cognitive behavioural therapy avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (CBT ARFID)
Who is this program for?
8 – 18 years old
Central Toronto (exceptions have been made based on need)

- Primary care referral (i.e. Doctor or Nurse Practitioner)
- Referral through EpicCare Link: Refer a Patient | SickKids

Are there any people who aren’t the best fit for this program?
While this program aims to help everyone, there are some that have needs this program doesn’t cover, including:
- Patients with binge eating disorder
- Long-time picky eaters
