What is this program?
The Intensive Services for Children, In-Home Treatment program functions as an integrated service so that continuity can be provided between classroom treatment and in home supports. The service is provided to clients and families who are experiencing difficulty in home, school and/or community and may be at risk for home or school breakdown due to significant social, emotional or behavioural challenges. In-home support is available both through our day treatment program and as a stand-alone service.

Are there any people who aren’t the best fit for this program?
GH-CCMH does not provide specific assessment and treatment for the following:
- When autism/related neuro-developmental disorders are the primary concern
- When substance use is the primary concern
- When eating disorders are the primary concern
- Requiring crisis care
- Psychosis
- Primary forensic concerns
- Child custody/access cases
