Substance Use Day Treatment

What is this program?

The Substance Use Day Treatment Program is for teens who recognize their alcohol and/or substance use has impacted their lives and are looking to make changes. Individual treatment is aimed at reducing or eliminating substance use in accordance with the program’s harm reduction philosophy.

This is an academic program with opportunities for teens to work towards secondary school credits with a Toronto District Secondary School teacher, instructing Ministry of Education curriculum.

What does this program offer?

  • Day program (Monday – Friday) with individual and group-based programming, academics, medical monitoring and supports, individual therapy, and parent/caregiver support.

  • Self-referral
    • Call: 416-813-5804
  • Primary care referral (i.e. Doctor or Nurse Practitioner) 
  • Hospital referral

Are there any people who aren’t the best fit for this program?

  • Patients must be prepared to come to the program and ready to make some changes to their substance use
  • Patients must be in secondary school (e.g. Grade 9 -12)
